I mentioned last time I would comb through the outline I made when I wrote the initial chapter, “Turning Adversaries into Advocates”. Well, the outline made it through my private review largely intact. I simply decided to move a few things around.

With that settled, I started writing two weeks ago. My method has been to pick sections at random and write down the basics of what each covers. These drafts are skeletal by design — they'll expand considerably once I begin weaving in my research notes. Even so, these early drafts have already passed the 10,000 word count.

Over the next two weeks, the goal is to bring the remaining chapters to that same skeletal stage. I'll also be connecting with the editor and graphic artist who will be working on the book, getting them oriented on the project and their roles. More on them in a future issue.

If you'd like to see a draft section, just reply and let me know. And if you have any marketing data experiences or views you'd like to share, I'm happy to set up a call — if I use it, you'll get credit in the book.

Thanks,
