I first want to welcome those of you who've newly subscribed to updates on The Data-based Marketer's progress. Let's get caught up on what's happened so far in August.

Recently I sent one of the book's three sections — on the full stack of marketing technologies that collect data to reviewers Jane and Ateeq. No one other than myself had seen this 42-page chunk; I'm so thankful to have their help me push past this.

Another milestone that’s kept me busy for the past three months is finally behind me. This is the brand identity for the book and its website, which I've been working with graphic designer (Shoutout to Jessica Rodriguez). A number of you weighed in on the poll, thanks for getting the final logo and tagline settled. The design rolls out late August.

Team update: editor, in place. Designer, in place. On the publishing front, I will self-publish, and need to decide who will print and bind the first run. If you know a good Canadian printer/publisher, I'd welcome you referring me to them.

Next two weeks: more writing inside the last remaining section, which I'm targeting for end of August into early September.

If you'd like to see a draft section, or if you have a lead on a printer, just reply and let me know.

Thanks,
